Baby Dedications

“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord.” ~1 Samuel 1:27-28 (NIV)

Second Baptist believes children are a gift from God and is happy to perform your baby’s dedication. Like Mary and Joseph brought baby Jesus to the temple for His dedication (Luke 2:22-24), parents typically make the choice to have their babies blessed in the first year of their lives. It is a symbol of dedicating the life of a child to the Lord and giving back to God the gift He has given to parents. For dates and details, please contact our office.
