Second Baptist Church offers many opportunities for Christian to grow as disciples. Join us for a chance to grow through practical, engaging, experiential, creative teaching sure to enhance your understanding of scripture and deepen your relationship with God. After all, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8: 31, 32

Bible Study

Bible study is one of the most important tools for Christian growth. We invite you to Second Baptist each Wednesday at 12 noon and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM to study the Word of God through an engaging, experiential, and practical exploration of the Bible.

G.R.A.C.E.

G.R.A.C.E. (Getting a Real Awesome Christian Experience) is the young adult ministry of Second Baptist Church. Individuals, ages 20-40, have the opportunity to share the faith with other young adults through education, prayer, and exciting fellowship while affirming their unique gifts and talents.

New Members

New Members Class is your first step in discipleship. It is designed to give those who have recently experienced salvation and/or those who are joining the church a clear understanding of what it means to become a member of the body of Christ at Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park. It also provides an avenue where new members get to know and fellowship with one another.

Christian Bookstore

Consider this your Christian resource center right here in Asbury Park! Our bookstore offers spiritual education, encouragement, and entertainment through the sale of Bibles, books, music, media items, and gifts.  We also have CDs of our weekly services available for purchase. If you don’t see what you want, our friendly sales assistants will order it for you.
